Text Messaging Plans

Skoop! offers six Text Messaging Plans to accommodate the varying needs of small businesses.  Unlike most text marketing services, who sell you a package and then leave you to fend for yourself, all of Skoop!'s Text Messaging Plans include our Account Management Service, allowing you to run your business while we run your text marketing program efficiently and economically.

Managed Text Messaging Plans

The good news: an opt-in mobile phone database is a very valuable asset that will provide a great return to your business.  However, it requires time and commitment on your part to build that database.  All of our Text Messaging Plans include professional Account Management Services, through which Skoop! will provide guidance and support to you while you are building your database. We are investing in your success, and for that reason we do not offer "no contract" or "month-to-month" texting plans like the many mobile marketing companies who are happy to sell you a bucket of messages and wish you good luck.

We offer six Text Messaging Plans:

How our Plans work:

  • All outgoing messages, including opt-in Welcome Messages, use one Message Credit
  • Incoming messages (for opting in) do not use Message Credits
  • There is no monthly minimum or maximum Message Credit usage requirement
  • The Message Credits shown in the table are to be used over the course of the contract period
  • If the Message Credits are all used up before the contract period expires, additional Message Credit Blocks may be purchased
  • Unused Message Credits expire at the end of the contract period
  • All Text  Messaging Plans include one Keyword
  • Additional Keywords, if needed, are $25/month per Keyword
  • Clients may access their account at any time using the Skoop! Text Messaging Portal to buy Message Credit Blocks, schedule broadcasts, and analyze their subscriber metrics
  • Contracts are to be paid for in full, in advance

Message Credit Blocks

Message Credit Blocks are used to supplement Texting Plans that have used up all of the included Message Credits before the contract period is over. Unused Message Credit Blocks expire 12 months after the date of purchase.

Account Management Service

Included with every Plan, Skoop! will:

  • Create and schedule up to 4 text blasts per month for you
  • Monitor your campaign progress and provide ongoing advice on how to optimize the use of our Text Messaging service for maximum benefit to your business
  • Provide a monthly report detailing opt-ins, opt-outs, and message credits used

Included with every Plan, Skoop! provides templates for collateral material for you to use in promoting your keyword and generating subscriber opt-ins:

  • Window hangers
  • Table tents
  • "Opt-in" postcards (to include with a restaurant check or a retail receipt)
  • Posters, in 8.5” x 11” and 11” x 17” sizes
  • Text message examples
